Archaeology should be accessible and fun
One of the great challenges of archaeology and ancient history is to make it understandable and engaging for a wider audience of diverse backgrounds and interests. Scientific articles and research reports can be infamously dense and hard to understand for anyone outside the specific field. Apart from potential misunderstanding and misuse of information, researchers can also be accused of keeping information secret and overly complex, which is almost never the end goal. With the closing of archaeological departments across the world, it is more important than ever that we engage with the general public and communicate archaeology in a concise and accurate way. Our mission is to present exciting and intriguing topics in archaeology and ancient history and make it accessible and fun!
