My education is made up of a BA in Global Archaeology and Egyptology, a MA in the Archaeology of Egypt and the Near East, and a MA in Digital Archaeology.
My interests lies within any Bronze Age (3300 - 1200 BCE) civilization, but my main focus lies with Egypt where I research building materials and anything geoarchaeological.
I have done fieldwork all around the world and it’s not unusual to find me looking at dirt or behind a computer screen analysing maps. I’m a lover of historical fiction and board games, really anything tied to the ancient world. As hiking and the outdoors are some of my main interests it isn’t unusual finding me looking for holes in the ground to admire the stratigraphy; and as an avid soil and sediment enthusiast, I have been described as a certified dirt lady.

My education consists of a BA in Egyptology and Nutrition, a MA in Egyptology and I’m currently doing a PhD at Uppsala University in Ancient Egyptian text and language.
My main period of interest is the New Kingdom Egypt (c. 1550-1070 BCE), and my research interests lies within linguistics and literature.
After a detour studying nutrition I rediscovered my passion for Ancient Egyptian languages and text. I’d be equally happy in a damp and dark archive studying texts as on site deciphering and copying hieroglyphs on temple walls. Letters are my favorite type of text as they tell us so much of the actual people of the past. The time I don’t spend with my beloved texts I spend gaming (in particular archaeogaming), reading or traveling between Sweden and England.

I have a BA in Classical Archaeology and Anthropology, and a MSc in Human Osteology and Funerary Archaeology.
My main period of interest is the Hellenistic period (323 - 31 BCE) in Greece, and my main research interests are human remains and technology.
I’ve worked on archaeology projects around the world and am constantly fascinated by human ingenuity. While I love to study human remains and try to piece back together a life from the past, I am also deeply interested in technology from the past and how it worked. In my spare time when I’m not reading, I love playing video games and trying more extreme sports like bouldering, sword fighting, and Viking reenactment.

I have a BA in Ancient History and Archaeology, and a MA in Archaeology of Egypt and the Near East.
My main periods of interest are Minoan Crete (c. 2800 BCE - c. 1100 BCE) and Old Babylonian Period (Mesopotamia: c. 1900 BCE - c. 1600 BCE), where I focus on Cult Sites in the Aegean Bronze Age and Feminist Archaeology.

My love for archaeology started at the age of 9 when learning about the ancient Egyptians at school. But at university, I developed a keen interest in feminist archaeology, where, in already overlooked civilisations, there are heavily underrepresented women. When I'm not raving about the equality and perception of women in the ancient world, I like to travel, hike, paddleboard and teach English online.

I have a BA in Foreign Affairs and Middle Eastern Studies, a MA in Comparative Art & Archaeology, currently doing a PhD in Archaeology at the University of Cambridge.

My current research is on the Neo-Assyrian period (c. 911-612 BCE), where I look at image-making, ancient monsters and demons, and political history.

My detour from modern studies into archaeology of the ancient Middle East was inspired by various explorations into the complex relationship between visual culture and politics. I also geek out over similarities in syntax and grammar between Arabic and ancient Babylonian, and am perfectly at home poring over obscure publications in dusty corners of university libraries. When I’m not researching the genealogy, evolution, and use of beneficent and malevolent creatures, I spend my time solving puzzles, relaxing with kora music and yoga, and perfecting baking recipes.

I have a BA in Anthropology with an emphasis in Archaeology and minors in Museum Studies and Arabic, as well as an MA in Egyptology. My main archaeological periods of interest are the Terminal Classic Maya (CE 750 - 1050) and the Late New Kingdom to the 3rd Intermediate Period Egypt (1567 BCE - 747 BCE) where my main research interests lie within a multidisciplinary and cross-cultural approach to the analysis of ancient graffiti with a focus in the political nature of Theban temple graffiti in Egypt.
What started out as a quest to learn more about my ancestry quickly turned into me excavating in Peru, Belize, and Egypt as an archaeologist where I've worked in everything from temples to tombs, pyramids, and even caves. When I'm not researching you can find me hosting the YouTube show Weekend Talk with Save Cultural Heritage Group, scuba diving, archaeogaming, obsessing over The Witcher, and watching far too many episodes of Ancient Aliens even if I argue with the TV more often than not because that show is illogical at its best.

I have a BA in Ancient Languages and Cultures, and Minors in Earth Science, and a MA in Principles of Conservation.
My main archaeological period of interest is the Old Kingdom Egypt (2686-2160 BCE) where my main research interest are jewelry, Semi-precious stones and Preventive Conservation.
My interest in ancient cultures started when I went on an excursion to my school’s library at the age of 12, where I found an archaic book about ancient Egypt. Since then I’ve studied everything from the creation of the Earth to the meaning behind semi-precious stones used in ancient jewelry. When I’m not looking at stones or minerals you can find me next to a table playing board games or hidden deep within my blankets watching Korean drama on my sofa.

I have a BA in Classical Archeology and Ancient History, and a MA in Art History.
My main field of interest is Ancient Greece, the Classical period (ca. 480-323 BCE), where my main research interest is on women and the perception of the female body during Classical Greece, as well as how women and their bodies were portrayed in sculpture.
Apart from being utterly infatuated with antiquity, especially anything to do with ancient Greece, I am passionate about Renaissance and Baroque paintings and architecture, as well as feminism. When not spending time with my children and family, I enjoy renovation projects, great food, watching documentaries, CrossFit, playing soccer, and coming up with various projects around the house.
